Ko Heather Sharplin taku ingoa, I purchased The Yoga Tree from previous owners Anandi and Brigid in 2019. I had been a student and then a teacher at the Yoga Tree, when the oppotunity to buy the studio came up, it was a dream come true for me.

I have a Level 1 Iyengar Yoga certification, and am currently working my way towards Level 2. My seniour teacher is Suzi Carson from Four Winds Yoga

I was born and raised in Kaikoura, and moved to Taupo after the Christchurch earthquakes to make a new life with my whanau.

Yoga is a wonderful practice for life :)
